RESOLVED: Uploading Google Sheets

The outage of the Google Sheets API has been resolved. As a result, users should be able to load data via spreadsheets once again. If you continue to experience issues while uploading data, though, please don't hesitate to contact us.

SERVICE DISRUPTION: Uploading Google Sheets

Due to an outage of the Google Sheets API, our data loader is having difficulties uploading Google Sheets. When trying to upload a spreadsheet, users will see a message stating that the load was started, but the load will not appear in the admin console's Load History table. We will post more information as soon as it is available.

As a temporary workaround, please try the following:
  1. Export your spreadsheet to a CSV file.
  2. Upload that CSV file via this page of your TD Admin console:
    https://td-admin.appspot.com/<DOMAIN_NAME>?page=csvload
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Update: The outage of the Google Sheets API has been resolved, so users should be able to upload via spreadsheets once again.

SERVICE DISRUPTION: SIS Integration

At the moment, the administrators at schools using SIS integration cannot access the TD admin console's SIS integration page. We've found a common thread among these issues that may point to a solution, but we are still investigating that possibility. We will post more information here as soon as a solution is in progress.

Meanwhile, please feel free to contact us if you are encountering this problem. We will be happy to extract data and share it with you as a temporary workaround.

Bug Fixes


Duplicate schools in the All Classes drop-down menu
For domains using School Separation, the drop-down menu of schools on the All Classes tab sometimes showed schools multiple times. This issue has been resolved.

Classes missing after clicking the Hapara icon
Previously, clicking the Hapara logo in Teacher Dashboard's upper left corner took users to the My Classes tab, but users' classes didn't appear. This has been fixed.

Empty teacher fields crashing SIS class loads
If at least one row in an SIS-integrated class load had an empty Teacher value, the entire load would crash. This issue has been resolved.

Bug Fixes


Loading previously-suspended students
If a student’s account was suspended when the student was first added to a class, our data loader erroneously ignored the student in subsequent loads. This issue has been resolved.

Archiving a single school in a district
For domains with multiple schools, trying to archive a single school instead archived the entire domain. This issue has been resolved.

OUTAGE UPDATE- Admin Access Grants Failing

UPDATE - We have resolved this issue and service to both Teacher Dashboard and TD Admin has been restored. We will post a full update as to the root cause to this blog shortly.

ORIGINAL POST - We are currently experiencing an outage that is affecting all Admin Access Grants into Hapara user domains. This is affecting all Teacher Dashboard and TD Admin operations. We are investigating and will update to this blog as new information is available.
